The 21.1km start is on the North West corner of the access to the Northern stop and rest of Meiringspoort on the N12. The race proceeds on the N12 in a northerly direction towards Klaarstroom for approximately 1.6km. At that point we turn (180 deg) around using 1.2m radius (1.5m running line) and come back towards De Rust in a southerly direction on the N12. Upon entering De Rust turn left (South) on New St, a gravel road, for approximately 150m. Turn right (West) in Le Roux Street for approximately 400m.
