After talking to a Diabetic friend of mine it seems the pain in my feet and legs (That I have been writing about in my journal) is peripheral neuropathy, the "stocking" variety. Well I know I don't have diabetes because I was just tested for it again after being diagnosed with something that I forgot the name of at the moment (which happens to be another sign of neuropathy). It started there but later the pain moved down to the heel area. The best way to describe this pain is to imagine someone twisting the little toe in a vise and trying to break it off. I hope this community is still active. It is sad to see no one else is here. Perhaps they don't know they pain they suffer in their chest is. I had to go online to find a name for it, because my last episode felt like breast pain. The first time I had it my doctor just told me it was a form of arthritis. Now I've had 4 episodes in a year to two years. I'd really have to check with my doctor to get an exact date on when the first one occurred, but two years seems a little long. Post a new comment.
