Whitney's World: March 2009
http://gowhitney.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when dreams come true, there is life and joy. I read this verse today and was musing on how accurate it truly is. Of course lately, I tend to bring everything back to the adoption, but it is really true.the things we have to wait for .the things we've pined in our hearts for.are the things we tend to truly cherish and appreciate once our dreams have come true. I can't decide if he's playing badminton or doing ballet! Links to this post.

Whitney's World: July 2009
http://gowhitney.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 14, 2009. I can't believe that it was a year ago today when we first met our son as prospective adoptive parents. In many ways it seems like years ago and then just yesterday at the same time. As I look over my blog from that day, I remember how filled with excitement, fear and hope I was all at the same time. What would he think of us? What would we talk about? I had so many questions but was so excited about what God may have for us. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A bunch...

Whitney's World: August 2009
http://gowhitney.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 4, 2009. It's been awhile since I've gotten to sit down and just reflect on all that's going on. It sure has been a crazy summer, one that I would never have been able to imagine a year ago. Our girls both start college at the end of August. Erica will be studying grahic art at Valencia and Erin will be working on her biology degree at UCF. It still amazes me that I am the mother of TWO college students.where does the time go? Just a few pictures of what we've been up to. Some of my faves.

Whitney's World: June 2009
http://gowhitney.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 10, 2009. You might find this funny.especially if you know my son and how many "blond moments" he has. Today he wanted me to teach him how to drive a stick-shift car. So, we headed out in my father's old truck for a few driving lessons. As you can guess, any of you who've driven a manual car before, there was a lot of stalling and jerking going on. God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me.". Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Thoughts ...

Whitney's World: January 2009
http://gowhitney.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 30, 2009. I have realized in the last few days as I spend time talking with the Lord that I have serious trust issues. I really don't trust anyone. If you're reading this blog, I don't trust you. I may love you, but I really don't trust you. Don't take it personally, I really don't trust anyone. How do you fix this? Wouldn't it be great if there was a switch you could walk over and flip and suddenly you would be at rest and this struggle would be behind you? 2 I am empowering all of my fr...

Whitney's World: Final India Post
http://gowhitney.blogspot.com/2011/02/final-india-post.html
Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Well, I am finally on my way back home. It has been an amazing experience that was ran the gamut of emotions and experiences. Our schedules were packed pretty tightly and we had little down time so I was unable to blog like I had wanted to and share my experiences. So, I leave with mixed emotions…There are things I will cherish about India and things I definitely will not miss. Things I will miss about India. Things I will not miss about India. 3 Indian food….so sp...5 The g...

Whitney's World: April 2009

Friday, April 17, 2009. Life As We Know It. I know it's been a while since I've blogged. It's not because I haven't long for 5 minutes to sit down with my thoughts. But I can't imagine loving anyone more or having this much fun with anyone else. He's got a job at the church and although he's a pretty good saver, it's fun to watch him get to buy himself his "nerd toys" as he calls them! Speaking of prayer, the boy will be driving a car in 3 weeks! He's so excited he can't even breathe! This will be a craz...

http://gowhitney.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 28, 2009. Why do we waste our money buying our children expensive toys? Look at all the fun and happiness a little bubble wrap can bring! Links to this post. Labels: Red Letters Campaign - Adoption Journal. Wednesday, May 27, 2009. The kids and I had a great time figuring this out! Another funny hobby that Devin and I share is couponing. He loves to help me go through the grocery stores and collect all the coupons he can find. He is shameless and it cracks me up! We're having a blast! 3 The...

Hot Air Balloom: December 2008
http://balloom.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 24, 2008. One Single Moment in Time. One event at a single moment in time can alter a life, impact the lives of countless people, change the course of the future. That is the moment in time that changed everything for so many people. I can't imagine what some of those people have gone through and still go through. The final chapter in the museum is "Hope.". Though that event, the birth of Emmanuel, God with us, has impacted the history of the world, we must each choose how it will imp...

Wednesday, January 28, 2009. What would DayVee do? How can you tell that I'm having a bad day at work? How about when it's after 4:00 in the afternoon and I'm still downing coffee. And it's not even very good coffee. Why do I let myself get so stressed about my job at this time of the year? That's a question I've been pondering for a few weeks. Perhaps with a little twist or two. Like not what would I want to do but what would/does God want me to do? Links to this post. Sunday, January 25, 2009. How does...
