NCR 20-Miler Recap – mercies per mile
https://merciespermile.wordpress.com/2016/09/28/ncr-20-miler-recap
September 28, 2016. September 28, 2016. I should probably be lesson planning right now, but meh. It’s Wednesday. It’s rainy, windy and cool outside. I’m wearing a sweatshirt and not roasting. It’s finally fall. And what better way to welcome fall than some running through the woods this weekend? The trees haven’t really started changing yet, but it was a lovely 46* starting out on Sunday. I didn’t know even 24 hours before the race started that I’d be running it. I have to say I’ve. Per the website, ther...

Contemplating mortality – mercies per mile
https://merciespermile.wordpress.com/2016/07/09/contemplating-mortality
July 9, 2016. July 9, 2016. 8220;In these bodies we will live, in these bodies we will die. Where you invest your love, you invest your life.”. I’ve been on a slight hiatus as far as blogging is concerned. I’ve been struggling lately with how public to make certain events in my life, and some days I just want to keep to myself. But inevitably on my runs (especially the ones lately with no music) I find myself writing titles and lines in this blog. So how’s life? What’s been going on? How are you doing?
Elizabeth – mercies per mile

March 4, 2017. 8220;Where your treasure is, there your heart is also.” Matthew 6:21. I love this verse. It’s such a simple but poignant reminder about the effects of our priorities in life. It’s no secret that Aaron and I are huge Dave Ramsey fans. I listen to the podcast on my commute back and forth to work everyday, and Dave references this verse quite a bit. He also takes it a bit farther to say that for married couples, financial decisions are also decisions about your values and dreams. March 3, 2017.
Running with the Marines – mercies per mile
https://merciespermile.wordpress.com/2016/11/01/running-with-the-marines
November 1, 2016. Running with the Marines. On Sunday, October 30, 2016, I toed the line for my third ever marathon. I ran Illinois in 2011 and Bataan Memorial Death March in 2012. This marathon had been on my mind since I won entry via the lottery back in March. Sign my colleague put on our office door. National Harbor, where packet pickup was hosted. While we were in town on Saturday, we (my husband and I) did a super short shakeout run and a little sightseeing. All in all, I had an awesome race. I...

8220;The Blogging”. About Dr. Mo. March 18, 2012. March 18, 2012. The wife and #babychild have been out of town for a few days, so I’ve had some time to bond with the house. I did some work outside, but today finally got down to tackling the piles of … stuff. I’ve come to some realizations about stuff:. The answer isn’t more bins … it’s LESS STUFF. I refuse to buy another shelf, drawer, basket, or bin until I jettison every unnecessary piece of stuff I have. When in doubt … throw it out. I got rid of so ...

Mercies Of God Out Reach Ministry |
Mercies of God Outreach Ministry (MOGOM), is a Ministry born out of God`s deep love and concern for the people he created. God gave us, at MOGOM, a clear vision and mission for mankind and what lay ahead. One early morning after quiet-time of studying the word of God, praising, worshiping and thanking Him, as I was in meditation, God spoke to me and said: look. I looked and beheld a man with a trumpet who appeared to me on the wall, blowing the trumpet and. FAITH THAT STANDS IN THE TIME OF TROUBLE.
AMAZING GRACE
Tuesday, 13 February 2018. THE FOOLISHNESS OF FAITH ( PART A). One evening in our youth fellowship, we were discussing about FAITH. The preacher asked a question: "what will you do when you are asking God for one particular thing and God decides to keep silent on you? I will keep on praying", someone answered. Another person said, "I will keep on trusting in Him" etc. One handsome young man with a very clean black carved bears who is well known with comic words stood up and said. It might sound and looks...

The Merciesphere | …thoughts and musings of mine
8230;thoughts and musings of mine. On Love and Marriage. December 8, 2016. December 8, 2016. I’m not gonna lie, I have been thinking of love and marriage and what they entail. In my research I found a number of thought and insight into the matter. Growing up, love was romanticised using fairy tales: you meet Prince Charming and you ride off into the sunset to live happily ever after. If only it was so easy. What, really, is love? Does it exist or is it oxytocin? Is it possible to remain in love? 8221; Th...
