Archives for October 2015. 10 Lessons Learned from my First Jewellery Show. October 30, 2015. In my last post. I shared my thoughts on participating in my first jewellery show. It went better than I ever could have expected, I had a great time, made some new connections, and learned a tonne. In no particular order, 10 lessons learned:. Bring bite sized snacks. Little things to pop in the mouth during quiet moments. Oh, and eat a good breakfast. It’s the part of being a wilderness guide I miss the most.

June 8, 2016. I picked the first salmon berries of the season. Called the most insipid of the berries by some – but I like them. Trail-side snacks. Eaten in the company of forest creatures. What could be better? We’ve recently become a kimchi house. Turns out if you go shopping hungry one of the items that makes it into the cart is kimchi.
