Monday, 27 October 2008. I will be at all of then except the Hillhead one on the 13th as I have to work at my horrible Job Of Doom. Yech. Made in the shade. Friday, 12 December 2008. He's huge. Anyone who has seen the smaller owls in life will have a good idea of the proportion! The funny thing is, when I was cutting out the fabric I thought "This isn't going to be as big as I want it" (haha). He is lovely though I if I do say so myself and I'm agonising over the decision to sell him or not. I'll take him along to the market in Mono on Sunday but mainly for show. I don't think anyone would re-home him. I'm off to make smaller versions of him now!

The waever bird were not happy about it, and the young eagle was bombed relentlessly. The big Monitor Lizard passed by too, but they didn’t seem too concerned about him (which is strange, as Monitor Lizards certainly eat weaver bird eggs, and therefore would not normally be welcome, whether there is a nest or not.).
