Water From Rocks: December 2010
http://waterfromrocks.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 17, 2010. It's Friday, I'm in Love. Blond, 5'8", blue eyes, leggy? Not ringing a bell? Proud as a Peacock. Big Miss finished finals with flying colors and we are very proud of her. It almost makes the sympathy stress we felt on her behalf worth it. Well, almost. I stress eat (see Grazing Gorilla above). Anyway, Merry Christmas. That can't really be said enough. Keep smiling and remember to be happy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. El Paso, TX September 2009. Linda S...

An ABA IndieNext Selection for December 2015. A fast moving crime story, but also far more than that. Deep social and moral issues dealt with, and made real with compassion and honesty. I couldn't put it down! Outstanding. The suspect pool may be small, but Harrison once again dramatizes the agonizing plight of those who firmly believe church doctrine and yet by their nature have a fundamental conflict with it.". Examining Books: Nov 20, 2012

Tuesday, November 20, 2012. Inheritance by Christopher Paolini. This book reminded me that Christopher Paolini's books have many pages. Not only that but, the writing is small so it takes a while for me to read them. But, that is not necessarily a bad thing. I enjoyed the wonderful hours it took to read this big book. (about 100 pages longer than Brisingr- his last book in the series.). This is the conclusion to the series (called the Inheritance Cycle Series). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Tony DiTerlizzi...

Monday, June 4, 2012. She is also not the only one in the family who is glad high school is over. On to bigger and better things, I say. Darren and I are both excited (and scared, truth be told) for her young adult phase. She is a great girl and will do well. We love you Big Miss. Congratulations! Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Potevka's Gifts by Mike Ramsdell. I read this thinking this book was going to be a continuation of ". A Train to Potevka. But almost immediately in reading the book he mentions that it is not. He does say that a continuation will come out called, "Russia: Rags and Riches- Spies and Lies." He will put that out after the movie of. A Traini to Potevka". There are many questions answered and funny stories shared. I was very grateful to have read this book. View my complete profile.
