Paint Your Wagon: Spring Cleaning
http://yourwagon.blogspot.com/2013/04/spring-cleaning.html
I've been doing a lot of abstract painting lately, extremely abstract. No brush, no paint, no canvas, I just think about it. Monday, April 22, 2013. A photo by Michael Mitchener. I came across a slice of summer while spring cleaning this evening. I found this buried in the back of a closet (I'm about to demolish in preparation for the next phase of renovations). This was painted so many years ago, I don't remember when. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

365 Days of Alchemy: A Visit from Auntie Nuala
http://365daysofalchemy.blogspot.com/2012/01/visit-from-auntie-nuala.html
365 Days of Alchemy. Sunday, January 8, 2012. A Visit from Auntie Nuala. Maddi is a lucky girl to have so many aunties and uncles that love her. Today, she got another visit from her Auntie Nules. Nuala was in the area shopping for a cheongsam (traditional Chinese dress) in Chinatown with some ladies from her office for their Chinese New Year dinner at work. That reminded me that I should have a look around for a Chinese dress for Maddi, too! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

365 Days of Alchemy: Sunshine-y Life
http://365daysofalchemy.blogspot.com/2012/01/sunshine-y-life.html
365 Days of Alchemy. Monday, January 9, 2012. I've been under the care of Dr. Sukhi of Sunshine Life Studio for over a year now. I started seeing him in November 2010, just before conceiving Maddi. I went regularly throughout my pregnancy, which I think helped me have the best pregnancy and birthing experience one can ask for. Amazing how this trick works so well in calming her down, but it is definitely hard on your back! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Im really just another person happy to have th...

Paint Your Wagon: January 2011
http://yourwagon.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
I've been doing a lot of abstract painting lately, extremely abstract. No brush, no paint, no canvas, I just think about it. Saturday, January 1, 2011. A photo by Michael Mitchener. New Year's Resolution: Paint. How I spent part of the first day of the new year. After years of procrastination, I thought I'd start the year off with a resolution to paint. I always liked art classes as a kid in school but never seemed to get around to trying my hand at oil painting as a grown-up. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
