About Us | Old Star Ale and Cider House
http://www.oldstarshoreham.co.uk/about
Old Star Ale and Cider House. Shoreham's friendly micro pub. A bit about us. Richard took over the micropub in 2015 and it has grown in popularity ever since. Having never run a pub before, it was a big step for Richard but he has revelled in making a long held dream come true. It occupies part of what was originally known as Star Inn in Shoreham by Sea, which closed its doors about 100 years ago. Before being converted to a micropub in 2014 it was a kitchen shop. Country Pub of the Year 2015. Burton and South Derbyshire Camra Branch. The philosophy behind a micropub is the rejection of all that the big chains tell us that we want. There will, therefore, be no television, no fruit machines, no juke box, no food, no spirits and no lager. The emphasis will be on good beer from microbreweries (and house wines) and conversation. The beer will be served straight from the cask. www.buyamill.com. 2 High Street Tutbury Burton Upon Trent, DE13 9LP. 1200 - 14.30. The Conque...

Urmston's micropub and bottle shop. What do you fancy? How to reach us. A micropub is a small, simple alehouse specialising in beer made by micro-breweries. Micro’ also can refer to the size of the pub itself. As they are often located in converted shops, the smallest micropubs are the size of your living room. Despite their small size, micropubs are big on choice. Free of tie means free to choose, with a typical micropub selling hundreds of different beers over the course of a year. PS: We do not. We al...
