Elias's Locker, Friday morning. Angela is not one to let a grounding get in the way of things. It's early on Friday morning when she passes by Elias's locker and shoves an envelope into it. Just wanted to write and let you know that I'm taking my driving test next today after school, so if you could just remember me around 3pm, I'd appreciate it. I'm so nervous. A Thank You Gift]. On Friday, Ernst sneaks a package into Angela's locker. Not terribly big, but rather heavy for its size. Wrapped in foil and tied with blue ribbon. A small notecard is slipped under the ribbon, reading in neat, precise cursive " Angela Thank you for helping me when I was broken. Ernst Röbel. Angela went up to her room with her cell phone. She smiled slightly. "I'm fine. Is work going okay? It's great. Hopefully, I'm going to get a promotion which will put me closer to you guys in a few months.". It would be so nice to have an adult that she could run to if things got too bad here. "When do you think? Not sure. Hopefully by summer at least.". Angela wasn't sure if she could wait that long, but if she tried, maybe it would be all right. Yeah He's doing good, and we're getting along well.".
