Sasha's agility club were doing a demonstration and one of the lovely ladies had a great camera to capture the action. Star had a try at the "have a go agility" and was, well a star! Random thoughts and short stories. Here is the new little car in my life:. It is a little Hyundai i10 city car and is very sweet. My dad has pointed out on a number of occasions that I am now the only person in the family ever to have owned a brand new car. To try to put an end to this I have pointed out that the decision to buy a basic model city car means that the car is pretty cheap and in fact he could buy 3 of these for the price he paid for his current second hand motor. When I first heard about The Bronx's plan to do a mariachi album I thought that someone was playing a joke on me. I mean, c'mon, The Bronx. Doing an album of mariachi tunes. What's next, Radiohead doing dubstep? The Deftones releasing a disco album? Muse releasing something good? Exactly. The idea was on the verge of preposterous. This kind of falls into a couple of distinctly different categories -those albums which are not terrible but a bit dull, those which are disappointing because they've been made by bands who are usually ok and those which are frankly, poo. In the "not terrible but a bit dull" section first up, it's the Subways. In the next category are Kasabian, which I have to say came as a bit of a surprise.
