My daughter married a year after we moved in, and my son lived here 5 years before he married. I was scared to death to own a home as a single person, and my insurance agent told me I was doing a good thing. I have never forgotten those words, and looking back, I did do a good thing! My daily thoughts as I journey through life. May 30, 2015. Several years ago my daughter gave me starts of a plant she had at her house. It likes shade and I hate mowing/trimming around the utility boxes. It has struggled to survive – in fact a couple years ago I thought I had lost it. This year however, it not only looks healthy and beautiful, it has decided to explore beyond its borders! This was my original plan of where the plant should be. How about increasing some good habits like exercising more?

We mow the lawn cause it looks like a hay field as soon as we can, cause many days its just too wet to mow! April 27, 2015. I was excited about the idea and so this morning I did just that. I took the diamond out of the garage and placed it in my backyard, got it level, moved the birdbath on it, and filled it. It looks wonderful, and here’s a photo of it. I was so pleased with the outcome that I then decided to clean the fountain on my front deck, which was running very sluggishly. It turned out not to be a big deal and the task was quickly completed. I shuffled my two appointments to earlier slots so that I’d have time for lunch before the vet visit and then when I got home I found a message from the vet asking me to reschedule because they had several emergencies.
