I will never forget when I was working at Primary Children's Medical Center and the announcement was made that she had been found. Everyone cheered! It's so easy to do the whole "woe is me, life is so hard bit" in our lives. I have many wonderful Haitian students so this has really affected me personally. What a humble, kind people. Haiti is much closer to the U.S. than most people realize. Saturday, March 24, 2012. We just got back at this late hour from the Utah State Gymnastics Meet held at Salt Lake Community College. Jessica participated and took first place in the state in the Excel Platinum division. She scored a personal best of 36.7 all around. She was first place of the 13 year olds in Platinum and then we found out she was first place out of all age groups of the Platinum division. Monday, March 12, 2012.
