James,Alisa and Toby (the Jack Russell Terror). My Stick Family from WiddlyTinks.com. Friday, January 14, 2011. The month of December flew by and so is January. We have been extremely busy the past month and now that all the "excitement" is over I don't know what to do with myself! Here is a run down of our past month. We got home in time for New Year's and just kinda hung out at home playing the Wii and we went to see a movie. It was nice. I got Mario Brother's for the Wii for Christmas (I still...This ...

Twinkle Toes and her Cavalier: October 2013
http://allisonfarnsworth.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Twinkle Toes and her Cavalier. Tuesday, October 8, 2013. Our Muffins are Delicious Muffins. This past weekend was General Conference, and we very much enjoyed it. I had to work Saturday morning so I didn't get to watch the first session, but I watched every other session and really enjoyed it. I felt like they addressed a lot of my current concerns, and said things I wanted to hear. Can't wait for the Conference Report so I can read them all again! This recipe is so delicious; you should try it! An Eveni...

Twinkle Toes and her Cavalier. Wednesday, June 11, 2014. Happiness is Greatest when Shared - Peter Pan Recollections. Well, before I get too mired in my preparations for Sleeping Beauty, I wanted to reflect on the amazing experience that was Peter Pan. The ballet really represents a full year of my life. Of course we're going to do a story ballet! What do you need? We started making plans immediately. The night of the show was a bit of a blur, as I spend my time backstage. I got to watch a little bit...

Twinkle Toes and her Cavalier: September 2014
http://allisonfarnsworth.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Twinkle Toes and her Cavalier. Saturday, September 13, 2014. Lessons Learned: Kids Grow Up. Yes, yes, I know, duh. It's not like I've been unaware of this fact. But I'm still pretty young, so sometimes it takes a while for things to sink in and really stick. And this is the year where the fact that my students grow up has started to stick. And that's just bizarre. And that's where the big thing that sunk in. So do it I will. I love my job! I googled Baby Ballerinas, and this one popped up. Subscribe to: ...

Twinkle Toes and her Cavalier: November 2013
http://allisonfarnsworth.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Twinkle Toes and her Cavalier. Wednesday, November 20, 2013. Let's Talk About Teaching. I've become a bit cynical about opening up the myriad blog posts and links that pop up on my Facebook feed, but this one caught my eye. A link in that article led me to:. To summarize the contents, a former educator offers some advice on how to survive teaching. The number one concept? Teaching is a hard job. Some people try to make it into life or death. But it’s still just a job. That is a lot. I cannot do Christmas...

http://allisonfarnsworth.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Twinkle Toes and her Cavalier. Sunday, January 25, 2015. It's almost February, so I really should get caught up, I suppose. Tomas and I spend Christmas up at Mike and Rachel's. He had to work Christmas Eve, but luckily, it was a morning shift, so we were able to head up fairly early. The kids were, of course, excited. Christmas Morning, after they came in to wake me up. Zobell Tradition: Waiting on the stairs until Mom and Dad says it's okay to come down. When your aunt is a tutu maker. Spring Semester h...

http://donandjen4ever.blogspot.com/2015/02/homeschool-valentines-day-party.html
Friday, February 13, 2015. Homeschool Valentine's Day Party. We got together with our homeschool group for a Valentines Day party. We played games, decorated bags, and exchanged valentines. We're so fortunate to be a part of this wonderful group. The kids are all best friends and love playing together and it's so nice to have the support and encouragement from other homeschooling moms going through the same things we do. We love our group!
