Thursday, January 5, 2012. Midland Senior Cabin Hike. Met Bonnie and George at River Grill in Solvang. Jera, still suffering from a dental operation joined us. Afterwards we went on a 3 mile, 800 ft elevation gain, hike on the Midland School property. It was quite hot and steep once we left the stream bed. The terminus view of the Santa Ynez Valley was terrific. Later, Mary Lynn and I got a sandwich at a grocery store on 154 and drove back home over the pass. Monday, November 9, 2009.
