Mike and Sue B. Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Trip to the East. Recently, Mike and I went on a trip out east to see our kids and grandkids. We had two nights at each daughter's home. First we went to Michele and AJ's. We went to Gadsby's Tavern in Alexandria and had a wonderful dinner! Then we went to Briana and Ryan's. Had a great time watching all the new things Delaney can do and say! Then we went to Holly and Luke's. Jael was full of stories and energy! Aren't our grandaughters the cutest? Trip to the East.

Mike and Sue B. Tuesday, June 9, 2009. June 6, 2009. A date that is set in infamy. James Patrick Benson graduated from Mayo High School. Yay! Our last one has graduated and is ready to fly from the nest. Jim is headed to Lincoln Christian University this Fall. It is in Lincoln, Illinois. He has signed up to study Psychology. We will miss him, but know that he is in a good place and is well prayed for. This is our future son-in-law. AJ and Michele will be married on June 19th. What do you think?

Mike and Sue B. Saturday, January 24, 2009. Yes, this is a picture from last winter, however, we have as much if not more snow on the ground this winter. It was -12.8 degrees this morning at 7:30. Right now it's up to a balmy -4 with a windchill of -18. Michele, I'm ready to move to Virginia Beach! Flannel sheets are a wonderful thing! But it is beautiful when there is a fresh snow. Thursday, January 1, 2009. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! So wedding plans will soon be in motion. Our Michele and AJ.

Mike and Sue B. Saturday, February 21, 2009. Here we go again. More snow. Most of the snow melted as of Fri., Feb. 20. Then we started getting more. Once again the ground is covered, probably six inches before all is said and done. Saw some vacation homes in Panama that looked really nice! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Mike and Sue B. Wednesday, December 24, 2008. Grandma B got to go to Maryland for Jael's first birthday on December 13th. We had a great party with friends and family. We had lunch and banana bread with icing for birthday cake, played games, and Jael opened lots of gifts. It was a fun time! I was so excited to be able to be there! Happy Birthday, Jael! Being only two days after Luke's return from Africa, he was exhausted and wanted to relax. Well, his three girls did not mind relaxin with our man! The most excitement the day held was when Jael and daddy went outside and rhrough the sprinkler. Jada enjoyed watching them out the window now that she has figured out how to pull herself up on anything she can grab hold of. Jael, Jada, and Mya.

Thursday, July 16, 2009. Jael is growing up so fast! She is talking ALL THE TIME and repeats everything we say! She loves to go to the park to swing and go down the slide. She's potty training well and loves the marshmallows she gets as a reward! She loves to test the boundaries mommy and daddy set but I guess that's all part of growing up! Even though I know that I NEVER tested the rules growing up. ;-). We have found that she does not enjoy going to the pool! So far it's been a great summer!

So every year we put out the nativity set on the piano and we hide baby Jesus. when someone asks where he is we tell them that he isn't born yet so why would he be in the manger. then it comes to Christmas morning and baby Jesus is in his manger.
