Hullo!: forgottenrealms

New to the community and wanted to say hi. I'm home for Christmas, where most of my library of books are so of course I picked 'em up and have re-read the Avatar Trilogy, Prince of Lies, and am now on Crucible. I was mortified to see that the publication dates from these range from 88-93. I don't think I got them myself until the mid/late 90s! I'm not even sure what I'd pick up nowadays. I sort of feel so old school I'm not sure what would appeal to me. Can anyone suggest any good new FR material?

Jul 2nd, 2009 @ 03:51 pm. Is this Journal still active? I have just found it but can't see any recent entries. July 2nd, 2009 04:48 pm (UTC). We can always get something going in here if it's not! What method(s) are you using or interested in? I'm familiar with taping and have a Tug-A-Hoy, so foreskin restoration is my next body modification adventure. July 2nd, 2009 05:33 pm (UTC). I'm not doing anything at the moment, I'm not circumcised so there's no need for anything to be restored! It's just that op...

Underappreciated album? - MUSIC IS IN MY BLOOD!!
http://musicinmyblood.livejournal.com/4970.html
MUSIC IS IN MY BLOOD! Music In My Blood. Aug 16th, 2003 05:50 pm. Music In My Blood. What do you think is one of the most underappreciated albums out there? My vote goes out for No Doubt's Return of Saturn. Fucking brilliant songwriting, some awesome instrumentation, and an overall nice variety of tempos and styles. You've got the upbeat and the introspective, some shoved together. 2003-08-16 08:38 pm (UTC). 2003-08-16 10:32 pm (UTC). It's a tought question. Let me work on it and get back to you!

Notes from a Hermetic Dropout. Feb 26th, 2008. During last night's practice, a new word came to mind, violin't. Snapped off during my tuning ritual again and again for a reason I'm still unsure of. I think I may be cranking it too tight, but the step down leaves the strings hanging like shoe laces. Progress is the ability to learn from one's missteps. On a happier side note, today's birthday is brought to you by the LJ users. Posted at 01:54 pm. Jan 31st, 2008. Zoe Keating - Sun Will Set. Oct 23rd, 2007.

Steph Rocks Your Socks. September 6th, 2006. This morning I went in for an ultrasound. I have been having lots of cramping that just didn't remember having with my first pregnancy. I called my doctor's office last week to see if I could get into an early appointment (my first prenatal appt wasn't scheduled until September 21st), and they suggested I schedule an appointment at the hospital for an ultrasound - "just for peace of mind". And we walked in the door at 7:30 AM. September 6th, 2006. Oh My Gosh&#...
