Milla sharing her story, living with Fibula Hemimelia. Operation, done and dusted. October 22, 2015. Again it’s mum doing the post today. Milla has been very sleepy with all the painkillers she is on. Tomorrow we are hoping that we can “bling” up her frame. And also, maybe remove her cannula so she can start practicing with her crutches. We will post some photos of her leg when she feels comfortable with it. Milla sharing her story, living with Fibula Hemimelia. November 4, 2015. Yesterday I visited my friends at school and I didn’t want to go home because I had so much fun. My friends wheeled me everywhere. Afterwards we went to Mummo’s (my grandma) house and I had so much fun! The past few days have been a complete turn-around. The teary anxious Milla has been replaced with a determined and capable Milla. Her pain is mostly gone and she is just doing everything she can! The First 4 Days.
