A Dorset Collection of Clocks. How does a pendulum clock work? With the development of the pendulum in 1670, the Golden Age of Clockmaking arrived! At A Dorset Collection of Clocks, over thirty longcase (Grandfather) clocks line the gallery in date order, showing the changes in clock fashion throughout the 18th and 19th centuries. Alongside are English and French Turret clocks - a rare chance to see movements that are usually hidden away driving dials on churches or public buildings. Adults . 3.00.

You can tour around the displays and equipment that shows the importance of cider as a drink over the years. Dorset Foodie Jo Stockley gathered her troops last autumn and put them to work at Owermoigne Cider Mill, Owermoigne, Dorset. Throw them in the crusher and give it some welly! Move the crushed apples to the press. Put the lid on and give it some more welly.

We are a small family run touring site set in open countryside in the beautiful Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation conservation area offering a quiet and peaceful holiday experience in a delightful setting. We do not have shower or toilet facilities on site so all visitors must have their own sanitation but we do have 16 amp electric hook-ups for all our 20 licensed pitches, three drinking water taps, a chemical toilet waste disposal point, rubbish and re-cycling bins.
