And the potter’s wheel turns… →. April 22, 2011 · 8:25 am. I always knew that there’s more to people than meets the eye. These sessions reminded me of that. We were amazed to see the talent in people shining through tough exteriors and normally subdued characters. I realised, once again, that seeing passion and creativity writ large on the faces of people touches me, impresses me, inspires me. This one is an angel-cum-devil by a colleague. The inimitable Calvin and Hobbes by another colleague. April 22, ...

OT ’09 wrap-up. RIP Erich Segal →. January 19, 2010 · 11:42 am. 84 Charing Cross Road. I HAVE to thank Anupama. Once more for introducing me to this wonderful book – 84 Charing Cross Road. Without her, I wouldn’t have come to know of this gem of a book at all! And that would have been really sad, because I LOVED it and couldn’t put it down till I was done. It is a beautiful, beautiful book that touched many a chord in my heart. Have LOVED to visit this store! My rating: 5 stars! Filed under Reading Ramana.

Wordless Wednesday 34 →. April 26, 2011 · 9:00 am. Soon after I finished Notes From A Small Room. I picked up Frances Hodgson Bennett’s The Secret Garden. I completed it over the weekend. Or 84 Charing Cross Road. Did I feel I read it with too much of a cynical adult’s eye and not the way a child would. Maybe I ruined the book for myself. Maybe I should read and feel it again. Have you read this book? How did you feel about it? Filed under Reading Ramana. Wordless Wednesday 34 →. Enter your comment here.

February 2, 2015 at 2:34 am ( Uncategorized. A situation – you call black, I call white. We discuss all through the day into the night. Into the dark, unto twilight. Our understanding – our imagination taking flight. Slowly our words become trite. We argue, with no respite. Not a worry, about the consequences of the fight. Not a worry, about the slew of slights. Supporters of both our camps, quite forthright. In their understanding, of wrong from right. Quite a riot , they manage to incite. Enter your em...

A ladder of learning! January 30, 2015 at 10:39 am ( Uncategorized. A poem I wrote for a poetry contest. It’s the ladder of learning. Each and every rung unraveling. An answer to a long session of questioning. A sudden clarity like dark, jet black clouds withdrawing. Like the sunlight after a storm, the comprehension enlightening. Some are satisfied, but many are left, for more, thirsting. Take care, though, watch where you are going. A wrong step can be misleading. Down, one comes tumbling.
