http://beanborchardt.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Max Borchardt's Awesome Adventures. This is how we roll. Some final Christmas Pictures. Again, apologies for the late posting. I'm just going to put up a sampling of Christmas items so we can catch up to the present. Summer is going to be so exciting that I don't want to linger too long in times passed. So, if I could sum up Christmas, I would use the words family and Polar Express. That train took center stage! Grandpa B getting a flying pig. You'll have to ask him. :-). Down to the 'Ta. Paul, 4th, Joe,...

Max Borchardt's Awesome Adventures. This is how we roll. Christmas is Coming: Winter Miscellany. A few pictures from daily life. Or from my job. Or Max's job. Work. Life. Whatever. Last week, before it was winter, Max and I took advantage of the warmer temps for some Winter Ball! Already thinking of our Royals! The form is coming! There was the time he tried to eat the gingerbread train. Don't worry. He got as far as the top of the engine and gave up. The beginning - ish. Bout ready to join that stuff up!

Max Borchardt's Awesome Adventures. This is how we roll. Wrapping up the summer and back to school! Wrapping up the summer. We went to the Vinland Fair in Vinland - just south and slightly east of Lawrence. The smallest fair you ever saw, but it was especially cool because Nan works there with her mom. We enjoyed the animals, the fresh chicken and noodles and homemade pie, and watching the mini-tractor pull. A nice afternoon! Ham and Ham Jr. Max and Aunt Nan! Ham and Ham Jr, part two. Little man, big hill.

Max Borchardt's Awesome Adventures. This is how we roll. Colorado, a.k.a. Our "No Max, the Flint Hills are not mountains" Trip! Every time we drive to Wichita, Max says as we go through the Flint Hills, "Look! No, no, no. We needed to expand this kiddo's point of view a bit! Paul's friends Sid and Leane Silhan generously offered that we could use their condo in Breckenridge sometime if the desire arose, so we took them up on that offer over Memorial Day 2014. View from the deck. Max's top request for Col...

Max Borchardt's Awesome Adventures. This is how we roll. Max really wanted to be a bat this Halloween. Not a batman. Just a real bat. Well, we had to do some piecing together because most real bat costumes are for toddlers, not five-year-olds. But we made it, and Max had fun at school and on Halloween! School parade - no teeth. Can't be scary at school! Max's class in a Halloween singing presentation:. Paxton, Devyn, Faith, Max, Thomas, Gavin, A.J., Ben, and Jacob. Which was pretty cool! Posted by Susan B.

This July has been a month all about literal movement – an adventure in LA, seeing family in Fresno. Showing my brother Arizona and even starting to really launch a big idea. There’s been so much movement, in fact, that it’s been a little tricky to pause and record all of it. So it’s been crazy and interesting and I’ve gotten behind, but there’s a few more summer adve...Click to share ...
