Mission Connecticut: November 2010

http://www.missionconnecticut.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

The two-year adventure of Elder David Kunz serving in the Connecticut-Hartford Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Monday, November 29, 2010. Improved means to an unimproved end. So in no particular order I'm going to just mention all the things I wanted to. We had a baptism! Can you believe it? So it was Thanksgiving. And, Dad, we actually ate at this Aussie family's house! But only in hindsight, right? I snapped out of it after a while. It was fun. I say all this knowing the li...

The two-year adventure of Elder David Kunz serving in the Connecticut-Hartford Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Tuesday, June 29, 2010. The next day Susan Powers (who is great, thank you Susan! He reached over and grabbed my tag off my shirt and said "THE BUTTERFLY! Well suddenly while we stood there, the door randomly buzzed us in! We slowly walked into the building dumbfounded, put the letter on her door, and left. With really big smiles on our faces. So I was kinda looking ...

So - My new companion is going to be Elder Miller. Its going to be way different. Its cool though because I came out with Elder Miller! We were in the MTC together. So this is the second time that's happened! They're coming to church! They never needed help in the first place though). They're going to get callings,...

The two-year adventure of Elder David Kunz serving in the Connecticut-Hartford Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Well what an incredible week its been! Ha, just kidding its been pretty regular. But I feel good and we're working hard. Things seem to be going pretty smooth. Still having trouble finding people, but there are a few right on the edge of us being able to start working with them on a regular basis. Patience is a virtue right? Ah, I love it!

Michelle & Matt's Fam: March 2009

http://mnmfam.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html

Friday, March 27, 2009. Okay, you all know how I love Idaho! Really, I love the summer, Alturas Lake, Hunter's fishing, hiking, marshmellow roasts in the back yard, tennis, barbeques. And Fall, love it! The trees changing, getting that butterfly feeling for the holidays and family and friends, school starting, Matt and the kids hunting trips. And you all know how I feel about winter here. There's just too much fun to be had with the snow. But spring . . . not so much! Michelle and Matts Clan. So when Mat...

Michelle & Matt's Fam: Man Scouts

http://mnmfam.blogspot.com/2009/04/man-scouts.html

Wednesday, April 1, 2009. So you've heard of Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. But how about Man Scouts? That's what we're calling it here. I went into LL Greens to buy some sandpaper for Hunter's space derby. The young man working there said, "Oh yeah, I remember the space derby. Let's see. I'm not sure what grit (of sandpaper) he should use. Actually my dad did my space rocket." I swear the father's were as into it as much as the boys, if not more. Michelle and Matts Clan. Michelle & Matt's Fam: Welcome Home!

http://mnmfam.blogspot.com/2010/03/welcome-home.html

Monday, March 1, 2010. We just returned from an awesome cruise with Matt's family. His mom took all of her children and lucky spouses to the Carribean. It was good times with great family. We returned Sun morn at 1 am to find Tenney throwing up. Welcome home! I say "Well, Mam, you rolled through the stop sign." "I can't believe it! Are you kidding me? You think I was "frazzled," Mr. Officer? Michelle and Matts Clan. Oh Michelle, what a month youve had! I hope the cruise made up for some of the run-ins wi...

Michelle & Matt's Fam: You Think Old Woman!

http://mnmfam.blogspot.com/2010/03/you-think-old-woman.html

Wednesday, March 24, 2010. You Think Old Woman! Yesterday Tenney and I are walking in our local grocery store. The sun is bright but the temperature is cold. Tenney catches our reflections in the store front window. "You look like an old woman," she says. I stop in my tracks. "What? You look like an old woman," she repeats in the same voice. "What do you mean? The way I'm walking? Your face," she says matter of factly. "My face? What do you mean my face? Michelle and Matts Clan. March 24, 2010 at 3:05 PM.

Tuesday, February 24, 2009. Why we love winter in the Idaho Mountains! My sweet children with the pipe smoking snowman. We built him when the snow was the perfect consistency of wet, hence the reason he's not so big. He was super heavy. Tenney skiing down quarter dollar. Just so you know, I'm taking the picture while skiing backwards. That's right, backwards. I know it looks flat, but it is a slight incline. Tenney is seldom seen skating without her partner, the plastic chair. Michelle and Matts Clan.

Michelle & Matt's Fam: December 2008

http://mnmfam.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html

Wednesday, December 17, 2008. It will be a White Christmas after all. There's talk of a foot of snow tomorrow. Every morning all the kids want to do is go out to get in it. Hunter has been going out every afternoon to stack wood. It's a Christmas present to his Daddy. I'm pretty sure it will be Matt's favorite. The pile got a little too high for Hunt to stack nicely, so I had to come in at the very end. We're glad to have it done before we get more snow. Merry Christmas Matt! Michelle and Matts Clan.

Monday, October 20, 2008. Home Schooling in October. Hunter and I hiked the new mountain bike trail around the mountain by our house. Someone hung this skull up on a tree. I said, "I wonder what kind of a skull that is? Hunter said, "I can tell you. It's a deer skull. Don't you see the holes for the antlers." Duh? Who's home schooling whom? Hunter and his schoolmate, Sam, on their way home. Michelle and Matts Clan. Saturday, October 18, 2008. Don't you love a wedding! Nice to all be together! I miss my b...

Only the BEST candy ever, ever, ever! I look forward to easter time almost for this candy alone. April 1, 2009 at 5:06 PM. Im with you I love these little candies. Yummm. April 1, 2009 at 7:09 PM. I love those too! I didn't even buy them this year because I probably would of eaten the whole bag. April 13, 2009 at 12:22 PM.
