Shannon is my husband’s cousin which makes her ….my….cousin in law? Her husband Casey is a really cool, laid back guy who is a dedicated nurse. I love talking to him about his job – he has had the most interesting experiences! Harley, their soon to be senior in high school, is an amazing athlete and an all-around good kid!

Well, I cleaned up the kitchen, took the pups out and did a few loads of laundry, but nothing else. I realized at noon that although I was being patient, the expected call wouldn’t come any sooner. Since the house was empty, I decided to do some baking. I decided to make a small batch of biscotti. Just to add to the decadence!
