Mistea crafts: School Holidays...
https://misteacrafts.blogspot.com/2015/07/school-holidays.html
Imagining Creating Finishing (sometimes). Saturday, July 4, 2015. Used to be a time for getting out and exploring the neighbourhood, hanging out with friends and generally relaxing. It appears today's children no longer get to enjoy these carefree holidays, instead they're spending time cooped up in rooms similar to their everyday school rooms. How do I know this? I just spent a week working with these young people and I have to say I'm grateful for the holidays I enjoyed with family and friends. Lovely ...
Mistea crafts: Round and Round
https://misteacrafts.blogspot.com/2015/06/round-and-round.html
Imagining Creating Finishing (sometimes). Wednesday, June 24, 2015. That's what I've been doing on my pretty new red top. This is my first project for my new needles and they are lovely to work with- smooth and light to match the fluffy, airy yarn. The green project belongs to Myki and is a fun Amigurumi, she managed to finish the all the legs even with an injured hand. It will be very cute when done. Luxury 4 ply in African Violet, Leaf and Sangria. Hope the sun shines on your day too. Currently living ...
Mistea crafts: Three
https://misteacrafts.blogspot.com/2015/08/three.html
Imagining Creating Finishing (sometimes). Sunday, August 2, 2015. Two of those were big! I have enjoyed wrapping up in my Color Affection. Already, I love the colours and the generous size of this one. The top one is a design I am playing with. This version is off to a friend who lives in a cool place so should be useful for a few more months. Beam was just a fun knit and used up leftover yarns. Bonus! A new month with all the possibilities ahead. May your needles be busy. Labels: bendigo woollen mill.

Imagining Creating Finishing (sometimes). Friday, July 31, 2015. I stayed with the long rows project from the previous post- I admired the shapes as they appeared and took a break cooking up yummy's in the kitchen. Walking the neighbourhood looking for hardy blooms. While I picked the needles up, put them down again and carried them everywhere for a week, all the stitches started adding up. Before I knew, it was time to start something new to drag around. It has been a very good knitting week. Bendigo Wo...

Quilting in My Pyjamas: Living La Vida Loca
http://fairybreadmusings.blogspot.com/2015/04/living-la-vida-loca.html
Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Living La Vida Loca. I spent the first few weeks of my new job travelling to the ends of the earth for training. For someone who has never travelled further than 15 minutes to work, an hour each way in bumper to bumper peak hour traffic was a truly horrendous experience. It was wonderful when I started at my permanent office, cut my daily travel time by about half and started to get in to some sort of routine. So this past weekend, I sucked it up, tied a rope around my waist (so ...

Imagining Creating Finishing (sometimes). Thursday, January 12, 2017. I smell a rat. Seems I just left a whole lot of posts in draft instead of coming back here! There was a little knit a long for a very cute rat - not much yarn or knitting required but look at all those ends. When she was done Ratty went out to investigate the herb garden bed at the local community garden. What is this lovely looking green stuff? But I smell something delicious in the kitchen.
