The Smallwoods: We're still here!
http://jhmmsmallwood.blogspot.com/2012/06/were-still-here.html
Tuesday, June 26, 2012. I can't believe it's been so long since I've posted anything! SO much has happened. Here's a little update in pictures! The biggest thing being the birth of our sweet nephew, Charlie! He was born March 14 weighing just over 7 pounds. Here he is just after he was born! Look at him now! So handsome and sweet. Nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby. Beautiful sister and Charlie. Love this little face. Charlie as a newborn, so so sweet! Feb 11 we celebrated our 6th anniversary! Right af...

The Smallwoods: February 2011
http://jhmmsmallwood.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 28, 2011. That is the only thing getting me through this day! I am so tired. So tired of working out. Gone are the days of eating whatever whenever I wanted. So tired of having a sick, runny nose, coughing, tugging ears baby. More tired from her older sister. Where in the world did she get this attitude? I was talking to Maddi about jealousy and bragging. She asked me what the word jealousy meant. Maddi: Oh okay. I get it. I have prayed for patience way to many times already today. 8 Hav...

The Smallwoods: January 2011
http://jhmmsmallwood.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 24, 2011. We had a great weekend. I worked Friday night and then slept a little when I got home Saturday morning. We had a very relaxing Saturday. I made a few outfits for the girls and Josh cleaned out the garage and helped me out around the house. On Sunday, Maddi woke up with a 103 temp! She's excited about going back to school tomorrow. I have Women's Bible Study tomorrow and MOPS on Thursday! So excited about both of these! Last night Maddi and I were talking and she said,. Wives, in...

The Smallwoods: May 2011
http://jhmmsmallwood.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Maddi had her first field day last Friday and we all went to cheer her on! Macy came also and crawled around the field and smiled for pictures most of the time. We loved it and loved getting to watch Maddi have so much fun. Afterwards, we dropped Josh off at work and ran to grab Trip a GRAD-U-ATION gift. Can you believe it? Wasn't he just 7 years old chasing my friends around with scissors and his machete? Using his scissors to CUT THE SEATBELTS OUT of my dad's car. No more long ni...

The Smallwoods: August 2011
http://jhmmsmallwood.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 17, 2011. That time we went school shopping. Yesterday, I decided to take both girls to Walmart and get Maddi's school supplies. You know, like less than a week before school starts. I've been working hard, PEOPLE. So I tried telling her about the time that daddy went skiing but DID NOT KNOW HOW TO SKI. And he wasn't very good at it and ended up knocking. And she went back to crossing her arms and scowling because she'd be the o. And then the snowball started. Or something like that.

Tuesday, June 21, 2011. I hope everyone had a great Fathers day! I am so blessed with the father, grandfather, and husband in my life! Love them so much. We don't do too much for Mothers Day, not because I'm a selfless angel, but because if we don't go all out on Mother's Day, we don't HAVE. To go all out on Fathers Day. See how that works? We grilled burgers, ate way too much pie, and played dominoes with family. I LOVE my husband and am so grateful for the love he has for our girls. 4 Watching Maddi ru...

The Smallwoods: September 2011
http://jhmmsmallwood.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 6, 2011. A few weeks ago, Maddi started first grade. Had to let that sink in just a little, becasuse the memories I have of holding her as an infant and thinking OH MY GOD, HOT POTATO! We walked her to class on her first day, which means we all woke up early, showered, AND got dressed all before 7:30. This upset our normal morning routine. I called several times to check on her and they said she was doing well for her first day. AND, she even laid down and took a nap on her nap mat...

The Smallwoods: April 2011

Friday, April 29, 2011. Because I'm too tired to write anything! Also, the last time I wrote something when I worked a night shift and had gotten no sleep, I rambled on about a conversation Maddi and I had about farts. Because EVERYTHING is so funny when you're exhausted. She could run all. Do you see what I see? Just like Maddi had. We love watching her play. Playtime with sister before going to bed. Maddi showing her some gymnastics. Maddi loves Fancy Nancy anything. ESPECIALLY Fancy Nancy's clothes.

The Smallwoods: November 2011
http://jhmmsmallwood.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 28, 2011. We have moved again! We are living in some apartments now and are getting all settled in. The girls are sharing a room and it's working out much better than we thought. There's no greater sound than the sound of their door being opened and four little feet racing to our room every morning. Although, the sound of coffee brewing is a close second. Macy is still the sweetest, smiliest baby I've ever been around. She loves giving hugs and kisses and playing for hours. We have two d...

The Smallwoods: December 2010
http://jhmmsmallwood.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Today was fun, I took the girls shopping and then Maddi chose "chicka fil a" for lunch! We ran in and out of a few more stores but didn't see much of anything. Maddi sang different Christmas songs every time we got in the car. I loved it. I love her voice and I love how she tries so hard to make it sound like an adult is actually singing. She'll say "Mom, I bet you thought that was the radio. It was really me.". I love being a mother to these two sweet and funny girls. She was...
