I have a thing for saving unwanted items and remaking them into something useful. Here are a few of what I call my Earth Day creations. I turned my collection of plastic grocery bags into this handwoven rag rug. It makes a great liner for the trunk of my car. And my latest, from my husband's discarded undershirts. a knit rag rug for our little bathroom.

http://mizrebeckysrecipes.blogspot.com/2011/10/sweet-sour-something.html
March 6, 2015. Sweet and Sour Something. This is great sauce for Sweet and Sour Meatballs which I often take in a slow cooker to parties, or Sweet and Sour Chicken which I like to make at home. I bet it even works well with Pork. Serve it whichever way over rice, and you've got a meal that can't be beat. 2 cloves garlic, crushed. 1 cup vinegar 1 green pepper, cut in strips. 1 cup pineapple juice. 1/3 cup soy sauce. 8 ounce can of pineapple chunks, drained. Combine all ingredients except the pineapple.
