Running in the rain to the Pacific Way Bakery and Cafe after overnight at our Gearhart Ocean Inn cottage across the street. Ahhh, the smell of coffee and fresh-baked pastries. (Luckily, big wet dogs not present at the “tail waggin’ good” café this morning.) Tea for me; coffee for Jess. Almond croissants and veggie tarts. Me too, I think, and say it out loud.
