The branch is run entirely by volunteers and we would be very interested in hearing from anyone who would like to help us. Roles for volunteers include:. Committee Member and Association Visitor. Association Visitors play a vital role in supporting those living with MND, their family and carers. The Isle of Wight Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Has the sole aim of serving all those on the Isle of Wight who are affected by Motor Neurone Disease (MND). This includes people with MND, their carers, family and friends, in fact anyone who has been touched in some way by the disease. Our branch holds regular support meetings for people living with MND and their carers. These provide an opportunity to meet with other people living with the disease, and to share experiences and ideas.

Formed in 1996; our branch supports people throughout the Isle of Wight. Our focus is supporting people affected by MND, raising awareness of the disease, the Association and fundraising. We hold regular monthly informal support group meetings (3rd Thursday in each month) where people with MND and their carers have the opportunity to meet others living with the disease, to share experiences.
