http://musingsimply.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Fuzzy slippers, world injustice, and everything in between. Sunday, November 19, 2006. Well, all seems to be well here - I got a BIG check from my insurance company for the hail damage to the roof - they also found damage to the siding, so I must get that fixed too. I will just try to do it all in the spring (they don't really do siding in the winter right? Well, that's all for now. Back to the grindstone! Posted by Sarah @ 11/19/2006 10:11:00 AM. Walking Down the Middle of the Road. an ideablog in search of new ideas, different perspectives and vibrant debate from a centrist point-of-view. Thursday, November 10, 2005. Gay Marriage Is All About Values. Cross-Posted on the Moderate Republican:. One thing I've been thinking about was a letter to the editor that showed up in today's Minneapolis Star Tribune. We have children without health care, traffic congestion, working parents unable to afford housing, and underfunded schools. If we allow our...

Walking Down the Middle of the Road. an ideablog in search of new ideas, different perspectives and vibrant debate from a centrist point-of-view. Wednesday, August 31, 2005. John McCain: Fickle Friend of Gays. Crossposted from The Moderate Republican. And now, McCain has just stabbed me in the back. Has come out in favor of a change in the Arizona constitution that would ban same sex marriages. It might be time to take him off that list. Posted by Dennis Sanders @ 11:07 AM. Is to reduce oil dependence on...

Random Thoughts of A Proud Centrist: February 2006
http://proudcentristnys.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Random Thoughts of A Proud Centrist. Saturday, February 04, 2006. Farewell Betty and Al. Today, two well known figures passed into the great beyond. Secondly, a great heroine for women in America, we all mourn the loss of Betty Friedan. She was an avowed and activist feminist, who did her best to help mainstream the Feminist movement, by opposing more radical elements in the movement. We recall with great emotion the passing of these two Americans, who had significant impacts on their fellow men and women.

Random Thoughts of A Proud Centrist. Saturday, December 31, 2005. 2005, The Year in Review: A Summary. To sum up this year, it has been disappointing. We were to start it off on a good note, with a Presidential inauguration, with good cheer, coming off of a year of ups and downs, we ought to have been on the upswing. Here, then, is to a good 2006. Let us raise our glasses and hope for a better New Year. May we all enjoy peace, prosperity and joy in the coming year. Posted by ProudCentrist @ 5:26 pm.

Musing Simply: October 2006
http://musingsimply.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Fuzzy slippers, world injustice, and everything in between. Tuesday, October 03, 2006. I did something kind of silly the other day after talking to my friend Marsha about the latest theories on Harry Potter. I took the IQ quiz on The Leaky Cauldron. I know it's kind of corny, but it was fun. I did receive an O.W.L - barely squeaking by! This was fun. I hadn't read the latest interview with J.K. Rowling about. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. My favorite one is J.K. Rowling's Official Site. And, th...

Random Thoughts of A Proud Centrist: January 2006
http://proudcentristnys.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
Random Thoughts of A Proud Centrist. Tuesday, January 31, 2006. Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. It is clear that neither Ted Kennedy nor Lindsay Graham was the one who should speak about Samuel Alito's positions, nor should have people like Laurence Tribe or Robert Bork. No, the testimony of colleagues and former clerks, who cover the entire political spectrum, is the one we needed to listen to. Welcome to the most important job of your life, Justice Alito. Walking Down the Middle of the Road. an ideablog in search of new ideas, different perspectives and vibrant debate from a centrist point-of-view. Tuesday, November 08, 2005. Paris (and Normandy, and Toulouse) is Burning. Cross-posted on the Moderate Republican:. As the Paris suburbs, heck as most of France, is awash in violence, I've been doing some thinking and listening. I believe that there are lessons for both liberals and conservatives in the wake of the recent fighting. French Interior Minister] Mr...

Random Thoughts of A Proud Centrist: October 2005
http://proudcentristnys.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Random Thoughts of A Proud Centrist. Friday, October 28, 2005. Today I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby was indicted for five counts of lying. While I believe that lying to a grand jury is serious, I think that there's much worse for the Bush Administration to come. Initially, I am unsure how to react. I make it well known that I openly and avowedly oppose George W. Bush, and would be glad to have any pretense to remove the most corrupt President since Richard Nixon. Schadenfreude.
