I have decided to start a blog specifically related to my experiences as a mother for a number of reasons. 1 I need something to do with all of my free time now that I am a stay-at-home-mom. Tuesday, August 14, 2007. Mountains with the Nutiks. After a difficult sleep night, we spent all day Sunday up in the mountains with our cousins. The weather in Boulder was expected to be up near 100F, so we were thankful for the opportunity to escape the city. Momma Muses: Four Months!

Friday, August 10, 2007. Today, Audrey is 4 months old! And 4 months means another trip to the doctors. She wore her little lemon dress that daddy picked out. Once again, Dr. Baumgartner confirms that Audrey is a healthy, happy girl. She weighs 14 lbs 1 oz. She is 24 inches long. She is right about 50th percentile for both height and weight. Raising Savages

I thought I was raising children. Friday, May 8, 2015. I put all 4 of my babies in it. My oldest has an unfortuante "diaper painting incident" in it when she was a year old. My second used to scream for 45 minutes before falling asleep in it. My third chewed on the side bar until her little baby teeth had permanently indented it. My fourth figured out how to launch herself out of it. And now it's gone. 4 babies. almost 8 years. I feel like a huge chapter of my mommy career just closed. If I have time :).
