On Sunday 11th June 2010 (7.00 pm) after travelling 370 miles from Pigeon Forge - (East Tennessee). We were playing at The Alley Bar the next day which was actually on the same block (very handy). The Hank Williams Museum. The next day (13th June), we did all the touristy stuff, and first stop was the Hank Williams Museum, right next door to our hotel! Unfortunately we couldnt take any pictures in there, except for one by the statue in the reception area (and outside of course). Next - the Hank Williams Statue.

Finally we ended up at the cemetery where Hank and Audrey are buried side by side. The memorial was very peaceful and we sat in silent reflection on the greatness of Hank. We found a Simpson!

Rehearsal with Shannon - 12th June. On the morning of the gig we had a rehearsal with our drummer Shannon, at his lock-up rehearsal room. Although it was only 9am the heat was still in its mid 90s and wed heard on the news that today it would be reaching 98 by lunchtime. And whats more there was no air conditioning in this place. Boy it was hot! Next - gig at the Alley Bar.

10th June - we spent the night at the Dixie Stampede, a brilliant way to spend the evening! Http:/ www.dixiestampede.com. There was a four course meal with a vegetarian option for Wes and I. We started off with a creamy sweetcorn soup which was really tasty, corn on the cob. For main course we had a tomato pasta. Paul and everyone else had chicken. There was an apple strudel type dish for dessert and we were topped up with coke whenever we desired!

Halfway between Nashville and Pigeon Forge, we stopped at a small city called Kingston. After posing for a few pictures by the sign we were just about to hit the highway again when we passed another sign that said Kingston had been state capital for one day. The old court building doubled up as a museum and we ended up going inside to take a look. We met a woman there who was involved in running it, and also a guy from Bradford - all those miles away and we meet someone from Bradford, crazy!

The Wes Paul Band Arrive in. The Wes Paul Band. Stayed at a Log Cabin (Bear Camp Cabin) in Pigeon Forge. On Wednesday 9th June 2010 (5.00 pm) after travelling 210 miles from Nashville. Was naturally on the cards and whilst investigating in town we realised that another great attraction was Dollys Dixie Stampede. We didnt really have time to go to both as we were only in town for a couple of days so it had to be The Dixie Stampede. It was fantastic and worth every cent. FIRST - stop off in Kingston.

Gatlinburg is the nearest big(ish) town to Pigeon Forge. We took a ride out there on the first night looking for a place to have a drink. We didnt find anywhere and most places looked closed up so I dont know what its like for a night out, but we did take a couple of wrong turns so we may have actually missed the main street. The Wes Paul Band. Sunday 30th May - we played an afternoon gig at Hueys in Midtown, from 4pm till 7pm. The place was really packed and the audience were attentive throughout. Beckys parents also came to watch. We had half price drinks throughout the day and afterwards we all got half price Huey burgers. Next - Hit the road for Jackson!
