The best Dales Holiday Cottage! Yorkshire’s Grisdale is a haven for Wildlife and an ornithologist's dream. Snipe, Grouse and Pheasant sound their distinctive calls while Buzzards sail majestically in thermals high above the valley. Hares and Rabbits are plentiful and if you are lucky, you will see Red Squirrels skitting along the garden walls. At around 1200ft above sea level, Grisdale is quite isolated and often very dramatic. Site, which is well worth a visit. View down the valley from Moor Rigg.

It is 8.5 miles from the Wendsleydale town of Hawes and 10 miles from Sedbergh in Cumbria. The M6 at Junction 37 is 15 miles away and Kendal in the Lake District just 22 miles and less than 45mins away. Celebrating the Howgills and Sedbergh.
