Two Wheels, One Hammer: May 2016

http://morgansbikeandbuild.blogspot.com/2016_05_01_archive.html

Two Wheels, One Hammer. Tuesday, May 31, 2016. The first van day. Yesterday was our first time in the van! Travis and I got up around 8 to get the van and hit the road! From Philadelphia, we rode about an hour north to get Nate and then another hour to pick up Carlee. At Carlee's house, we had lunch with her family and took some time to relax, which was really great! Having a full van feels really great and it's definitely starting to sink in that I'm doing bike and build again! Sunday, May 29, 2016.

http://morgansbikeandbuild.blogspot.com/p/route-2016.html

Two Wheels, One Hammer. During the summer of 2016, I will be leading the Providence to Seattle Bike and Build trip! It is a total of 4010 miles but because I am a leader this year, I will be driving the van every 4th day. There are 4 total leaders on the trip, Carlee, Nathan, Travis, and me. Together, we will work together to get our team across the country and give them the best summer ever! We will have a total of 59 ride days with an average of 70 miles per day. We will build in 13 cities.

Two Wheels, One Hammer. Saturday, May 31, 2014. DeFuniak, Pensacola, and Mobile Alabama! I haven't posted in a while but I've been so busy! We had our first 100 mile ride on the way into Pensacola Beach. It was really difficult and hard for me to get through mentally, but I was so happy when I finished and so happy to get done! Gaurang and I got to do our presentation on affordable housing and how it effects your health and we killed it! So far, all of the drivers in Alabama are much more patient and kin...

Two Wheels, One Hammer: September 2014

http://morgansbikeandbuild.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html

Two Wheels, One Hammer. Sunday, September 7, 2014. Finally) and Day off! Finally, the day we all had been waiting for! At the beginning of the trip, I said that going to Yosemite was what I was looking forward to the most and even though it wasn't going to be how I imagined, I couldn't contain my excitement! I really appreciated the people I was with on this day. We all really just let go of everything and were completely oddballs together. It was so much fun! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Bike, Build, Blog. Zen and the Art of Dropping Everything to Make a Difference. Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Day 42 - Dalhart, TX. Back to the ride! After our lovely day off, we are now headed to Dalhart, TX. The ride was 80 miles, but we had an awesome tailwind for much of that, so the day passed by fairly smoothly. There were some hills in the morning, but by afternoon it was all fairly flat. I've been told that west Texas is flat and now I get to see it for myself! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Theme...

Bike, Build, Blog. Zen and the Art of Dropping Everything to Make a Difference. Thursday, July 10, 2014. Day 40 - Amarillo, TX. Well, we did not get to Amarillo by morning. today's 107 mile ride was super long and was not helped by the rainstorm in the middle (during which most of us were "bonking", or having a physical and mental breakdown during the ride). I can't wait for our rest day in Amarillo tomorrow! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Bike and Build Group Blog. View my complete profile.

Bike, Build, Blog. Zen and the Art of Dropping Everything to Make a Difference. Thursday, July 10, 2014. Day 41 - Day off in Amarillo, TX. So much to see and so much to do on our day off! I forgot the joy of being out in the woods with good friends. :). Later on, after our return from the canyon, our group went out for Mexican food followed by a trip to Cadillac Ranch! After a good discussion about their cross country trip as well as ours, we got some awesome Chaco bracelets to keep. Road To The Trip.

That awesome host that I mentioned that served us dinner on Memorial Day? Oh yeah, they took out one step farther by making our first hot breakfast of French toast and sausage. A town of just 100 people proved to be very difficult to get to but also very interesting once there. We had an awesome ride in on some of the emptiest roads we've seen so far, feeling great with our tailwind in and stopping to climb a random windmill! Build Rank and Flip Amazon Review Sites. Bike, Build, Blog. Zen and the Art of Dropping Everything to Make a Difference. Sunday, November 22, 2015. Strange, this blog still exists. Not to worry, I'm alive! For many reasons, I've been caught up in a world quite outside the one of social media and online stuff. but I'm back! My apologies to everyone that I let this drop to the wayside and never finished my stories from the road! So from the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support and for your patience!
