Short eared owl - Thorpe Marshes. Tuesday, 19 May 2015. So last sunday me , caterina and the kids were on our way to Pettitis animal adventure at reedham when news broke of a Citril Finch. Some of my birding adventures! Friday, 1 August 2014. What a 'Tern' out! On the 27th of July me and my Dad headed of to the Farne Islands for the first time. We were really excited as we have always wanted to go there. At around 11:30am we arrived at our hotel in Seahouses and more or less straight away we headed of to get a boat to the Farnes. Some of my birding adventures! Tuesday, 23 June 2015. On Sunday we took a visit to RSPB Blacktoft Sands in hope of seeing the drake Ring Necked Duck. And also we wanted to see the Montagus harriers. Usually every weekend we get up early to go birding, this weekend was no different but instead of birds we were looking for bikes. Some of my birding adventures! Saturday, 31 January 2015. Nosterfield gets a visit from America! This afternoon me and my Dad were deciding on where to go for the rest of the afternoon. We couldn't decide where until a drake American Wigeon. Turned up at Nosterfield so we were straight over. As soon as we arrived some birders put us straight onto this awesome bird, it was a little distant but through the scope it looked awesome! It stuck out like a sore thumb from the other Wigeon.
