Each group was given a large envelope and students needed to collaborate to categorize and describe the contents of the envelopes. Students realized they were learning about different types of maps as an introduction for social studies content. Week 3: Working with Fractions. Week 2: Rim Fire Smoke Keeps us Indoors.
