What Will We Do With a GIRL? December 8, 2008 at 9:18 pm ( Uncategorized. Yes, you heard correctly. We are having a little girl! I’m about four months along now and not showing. Well, I take that back. David and I see my new “gut” that I didn’t have before, but no one else can really see it. Maybe another month will make a difference. We got a DVD with the little girl wiggling around in the tummy and waving to us. I’ll have to post the new picture where she looks like she’s smiling at us.

Friday, August 22, 2008. 8-20-2008 Baby Rhodes Has Arrived! Our Nephew (born to Cathy's Sister and Brother-in-law) Rhodes Andrew Herndon was born on 08-20-2008. I was so excited to be able to be in TX for this Super Special Occasion! Rhodes was born at 12:44 weighing in at 7 lbs and 7 oz and he is 18 inches long. Both Mom, Dad and Baby are doing well! Carolyn and Rhodes about 20 minutes after he arrived via c-section. Isn't he adorable? Our Grandmother "Mimi", Cathy's Dad and Baby Rhodes.

Monday, April 13, 2009. Easter 2009 was so much fun here in Alabama! Kenadie's GiGi came to visit for a couple of days and Nana B and Daddy Gene came to visit for Easter Sunday! Brett spent the Saturday after Thanksgiving watching the Auburn / Alabama game with Kenadie and cousin Rhodes. Brett always wears his Auburn jersey on game day. Saturday, May 2, 2009. Now that Kenadie is 6 months old, our doctor gave us the "go ahead" to begin feeding her veggies. We decided to start with green beans. It took her a couple of feeds to get use to the new taste, but she now loves the taste. Cathy decided to attempt making homemade veggies for Kenadie. It is so easy. You basically steam or boil the frozen or fresh veggies until done and throw them into the blender. Surprisingly, Kenadie prefers the taste of the homemade veggies over the Gerber brand!

Thursday, July 23, 2009. The end of June! Grace cares nothing about mowing! She usually rides her bike or looks for rollie pollies. Oh the life of a 5 year old.so stressful! I love when kids get about 3 and they start to mimic whatever their same sex parent does. Every time Josh mows, Brady has to get his mower and follow him all over the yard. Precious! Grace pushing Brady off the slide, while Paxton and Bowman innocently watch! Pacey loved the slide! He doesn't seem to be too afraid of much!
