Middle School Student Handbook. We have started our second book of the school year, Chasing Lincoln's Killer. This nonfiction narrative gives the detailed account of the great manhunt for John Wilkes Booth. Students will track Booth's plans for escape and create a timeline of events. Students continue their vocabulary study in Wordly Wise. Students continue to read Cyrano de Bergerac. Students continue to hone their grammatical skills with daily "Caught ya's". We are competing in South St. Paul so plan a little longer drive to pick up your child. Awards are scheduled to start at 7:45. So hopefully everything will be completed by 8:15. CA's Clubhouse is offering a Field Trip for ALL students to Peter's Pumpkins and Carmen's Corn in Shakopee. Cost is $40 per student which includes the daily Clubhouse rate ($25) plus the field trip cost ($15). Clubhouse will remain at school, cost of care is $25 per day. Registration for both closes Monday, October 10. And payments must be made in advance.
