Dian's Blog: May 2005
http://noordiana.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, 29 May 2005. There's no place like home. I am just so tired of all this. Come this Thursday, I would have been working in this industry for almost 64 months. Out of that period, I have spent almost 30 months away from home on attachment to project sites around the country, mostly on the East Coast. In my first two years, I was away for a stretch of 14 months (although I still come home on weekends or long holidays). Friday, 20 May 2005. If only there was anything clearer than crystal. Oh, and did...

Dian's Blog: April 2005
http://noordiana.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 20 April 2005. Getting the positive from the negative. I read this wonderful post. That should have set me off on an introspective mood, except that at the office with some welding and grinding going on backdoors it doesn't quite set the correct ambience for self-reflection. Maybe I'll think about it later today, or this week, or next month. Tuesday, 19 April 2005. Everyone seems to be heading there except my hubby, and he's not too happy about it either. Sunday, 3 April 2005. I decided to go ...

Dian's Blog: February 2006
http://noordiana.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, 25 February 2006. A couple of weeks ago, I heard about some major drastic changes. Happening in my company. Well, the official briefing finally took place about two weeks ago, on a fine Thursday afternoon at a five star hotel not 5 minutes away from the office (whatever the news, they never fail to have it somewhere classy). It started with a very short and quick explanation of a study that was performed at the Group's Corporate Level, and the result was that:. My position seems secure, for now...

Dian's Blog: September 2005
http://noordiana.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html
Monday, 26 September 2005. Na nana nana 'Ganu Kite! I had planned to leave the office earlier, but those demmed CTR's held me back. That's the problem with doing a good job as an underling in the first place - when something needs changing or fixing, your superiors just refuse to do it themselves! And it's not so difficult to do. A Cost-Time-Resource sheet isn't exactly Rocket Science. Anyway, there's a bloke sitting across from me who looks suspiciously like Zahid from AF2 (remember him? There was almos...

Dian's Blog: March 2005
http://noordiana.blogspot.com/2005_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, 12 March 2005. Just because I rock doesn't mean I'm made of stone. I watched 'Me, Myself and Irene'. Saturday, 5 March 2005. It's PPA time again. The last week has been really hectic. I've forgotten how preparing yearly appraisals can be so time consuming and mind numbing, and couple that with a project that seems to run into trouble at every corner (and this project is like a myriagon. And what about that proposal that I spent 9 months preparing? But I married him last. Wednesday, 2 March 2005.

Dian's Blog: January 2006
http://noordiana.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 25 January 2006. A Time for Change? Change. Reshape. Transform. Mutate. Change is a scary word. It means having to let go of things and situations familiar, hence comforting, to you. It means someone somewhere feels you've been complacent and needs a bit of a shake-up. Which is fine when it comes gradually and you're kind of expecting it. Especially when all this while, the way things. When is it happening? What's going to happen to me? The strange thing is there had been rumours circulating f...

Dian's Blog: Butterfly butterfly, happy all day
http://noordiana.blogspot.com/2011/02/butterfly-butterfly-happy-all-day.html
Monday, 7 February 2011. Butterfly butterfly, happy all day. The next day was a picnic brunch at Taman Putra Perdana. I made the mistake of skipping breakfast, so by the time we reached the picnic spot all I could think of was food. As a result of satisfying my hunger pangs, I missed out on all the fun of walking and running around the park with my kids. Must plan this again sometime. One butterfly that managed to stay in place long enough for me to snap a picture. Posing in front of Pavilion KL.

Dian's Blog: August 2005
http://noordiana.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, 21 August 2005. We had been to Mak Su's house yesterday in Bangi for a housewarming doa selamat around lunch time, where again I faced a traditional Malay food spread of nasi minyak and rendang. My in-laws were planning to spend the night with us, and we had agreed to eat out for dinner (I don't need to cook, WOOHOO! Around 6 pm, after Hubby had done his Asar prayers and could keep an eye on Nuaim, I went to take a shower. That was when I saw the blood stains. The first thing I saw was a little r...
