mixed media martyr: over the top! award
http://mixedmediamartyr.blogspot.com/2009/11/over-top-award.html
Saturday, November 14, 2009. Thanks to the thoughtful Tammy over at " Bonsai Habits. AND the thoughtful Toni over at " Toni's Art Blog. I have been awarded an "Over The Top! Award TWICE. Sometimes I do get a little O.T.T. so this is quite suitable. I need to pass this award on to five people, post on their blog to let them know I left this award, and then I need to answer a list of questions in ONE word. Where is your cell phone? Your dream last night? What room are you in? Where were you last night?

Exploring art with child-like wonder…. We’re working on our current fears on a group I’m involved in…it took me a while to really dig at what I’m currently afraid of and I was shocked at what I found. Success means you have further to fall and more people are watching. Here is what I drew in my art journal…. A Quiet Night of Art. Mar 04, 2011. Mar 04, 2011. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Exploring art with child-like wonder…. A Quiet Night of Art. I had a friend over on Saturday evening and we explored our arty side letting the muse have control. We both had no idea what we were going to end up with. It was freeing to start with no end goal in mind. Her artwork came out beautiful but sadly I have no picture of it. Here I posted mine and will explain the process. I went wild with the flowers and vines and beaded gel. Love it. I then added a fading red stamp effect at the top from the righ...

Exploring art with child-like wonder…. Happiness is kitties…. I was frustrated, a little depressed, and wanted to curl up and hope the ceiling didn’t fall in on me. Exploring art with child-like wonder…. This is one of my favorite prayers, inspirations, poems, call it what you will. Go placidly amid the noise and haste,. And remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender,. Be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others,. Even to the dull and ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexations to the spirit. For the world is full of trickery.
