Riders met at 1pm Sunday and after the usual to-ing and fro-ing, off we went. We started as eight riders: (L to R in picture above) Toby, Mike, Joern, Gary, Ian, Rob, Tom, and me (not in picture). Some rode on the trails, some rode on the ice. There really was some ice under the 4" of slush. Then we built a nice fire. A little too much Jagermeister.

Brad unearthed this article from Lee Valley on a 16 year old kid building a bike entirely of wood. How cool is that? It has a completely wooden chain and freewheel to allow coasting.
