Sunday, August 18, 2013. Garden in Summer 2013. These days I love waking up around 5 or 6 in the morning to tend the garden before the sun is in full sight. They are blooming well fearless of the sun, and the balls of colours add pleasant varieties to the monotonous golden light in summer. Links to this post. Sunday, August 04, 2013. Summer and vacation are two factors that would lead to changes. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Masonry in York Minster. View my complete profile.

Monday, February 17, 2014. BBC Mini Series: North and South. The other day we watched a BBC costume drama, North and South. A 2004 TV adaptation of Elizabeth Gaskell’s novel. I have owned the DVD for a couple of years, which was bought together with another BBC period drama, Cranford. At that time, I was unaware of either Gaskell the author or her work. I still haven’t read the original of North and South. As I have said, the serial of North and South. Was a pleasant watch . The setup of the ending in th...

How can you say you like this but you don't like that? Is that valid or legitimate? 5 I think prime numbers are like life. They are very logical but you could never work out the rules, even if you spent all your time thinking about them. 6. Wer Musik machen darf, muss es mit Liebe tun.

Tuesday, June 10, 2014. Gardening in Spring, 2014 (IV): Hydrangea. Finally after almost 3 years since it was introduced to the garden, our hydrangea is going to bloom this year. In the end, despite all my concerns, they seem all managed to emerge from their leafy cradles and get ready for their time: the rainy season. Fingers crossed for lazurite blue. The mopheads are growing under unexpected heat before the rainy season, which is bound to start tomorrow. The shade of the petals is changing everyday...

Wednesday, May 14, 2014. Gardening in Spring, 2014 (III). Distant Drums and California Poppies. Compliments from passers-by these days really flattered my vanity. I have heard that parents who helplessly admire their own babies for no reason are considered foolish. I guess, along with this logic, I would be a foolishly infatuated gardener. Poppies and Roses are blooming at their peak despite the howling wind of printemp in Japan. Links to this post. Sunday, May 11, 2014. Gardening in Spring, 2014 (II).

Tuesday, February 24, 2015. A 40-week 2d Project: X. I had thought that the previous entry in this category will be the last one, but the little boy inside me has insisted on staying on for a little while. The baby has been overdue for 2 days now, but he is still active and seems just reluctant to see the world outside. Or, does he know that we haven't named him yet, or that we haven't built his cot so that he has assumed that he still has some more time to sleep in? To add on to the menu of exercise pro...

Sunday, January 25, 2015. A 40-week Project: III. I have heard a lot about how pregnant women would suffer from digestion problems, such as constipation. It is really something that I am worried most before I even thought of getting a child. Since little, the issue of digestion has troubled me all the way up to now due to, probably, my tense nerves and inability to relax. Links to this post. Labels: A 40-week Project. Tells a story of a girl born inside a bamboo, adopted by a couple in the country, and educated to transform herself from a peasant girl into a lady. Here I pick up various things to share. Hope you enjoy them! Thursday, August 26, 2004. I am somehow doing well. I've been making a good progress since yesterday morning. Yet, it is unlikely to be able to finish a draft by 5.00. pm tomorrow. I shall aim at submitting better one this time. I mean one showing whole structure and conclusion of the chapter, which might be well worth a reading. Posted by Koji @ 10:52 am. Monday, August 23, 2004. I haven't done the task due by this evening. Not an easy thing.
