No place like home. August Adventures, Part 1. Hooray for the official start of fall! Cooler temps, crunching leaves and pumpkin-flavored everything … yep, good times. But before we completely leave August behind, we’re back with a two-part summer trip recap. First up: the ever-exciting Branson, Missouri … yeehaw! Seems like they’d say “yeehaw” down there.) No place like home. Noon Year’s Rockin’ Eve. Yep — we said NOON. That’s how we do New Year’s. None of this midnight junk. True, it’s only 11 pm CST … but still too late. 🙂. We attended a Noon Year’s Eve party at a nearby bar/bocce/bowling place–turned kid fun zone for the morning. The dance music was blastin’ and they had face painters and caricature artists on hand. The Halloween fun began over the weekend with some pumpkin carving out on the deck. Check out that big pile o’ pumpkin guts! The finished product — woohoo!
