Mods & Repairs. A fun project, BYOC Stereo Analog Flanger. Build to a custom enclosure. This was my first time building any BYOC kit and found this to be a very nice kit indeed. Circuit board was rugged, parts were good quality and instructions were clear. Only modification I did to the original circuit was to add an output volume control (because when changing modes output volume changes slightly). Space theme for graphics was quite quickly chosen because of the sounds you can get out of this thing!

Mods & Repairs. A nice analog sounding delay you just can’t stop playing with. :). This time I made the Warp-control a momentary footswitch instead of latching, I think the effect is easier to control that way. Mods & Repairs. This is a 2-channel overdrive/booster. Overdrive side uses AD712 IC with BAT41 Schottky/2N7000 mosfet -clipping and from there signal goes to a hot mosfet booster. Perfect for those creamy/screaming leads! Both channels can also be used independently. I did special front panel graphics for this one as they are printed in reverse on the backside of a 1,5mm thick transparent plastic sheet. Sound samples by Jukka-Pekka Berg.

Syksyllä 2009 Alice In Chains julkaisi mainion Black Gives Way to Blue -albumin, joka kohotti bändin fanitukseni uudelle tasolle. Aijjettä, miten hyvää seuraa ja kaunista ilmaa olikin tarjolla sinä päivänä, kun olisi jo pitänyt lähteä Ilosaarirockiin. Katselin esiintyjälistaa, että nämähän on kyllä aika pitkälti nähty, ja näin saavuin Joensuuhun vasta sunnuntaiksi. Festarin ja koko kaupungin tunnelma on paljon ylistetty eikä syyttä jo kaupungilla, saati sitten festarialueella, törmää mahtaviin tyyppeihin musankuuntelun lomassa. Uuden levyn vastikään pihalle laittanut Slash ystävineen ulotti kiertueensa Helsinkiin 19.2.2013. Keikka meni varmasti, kuin sopimuksen mukaan. Settilistaan oli sopivassa suhteessa otettu mukaan Slashin soolotuotantoa, Guns N’ Rosesia ja jopa Velvet Revolverin Slither.
