Monday, 28 November 2016. Curlew 'North America' 1986. Curlew were an avant-garde jazz outfit that previously hosted the likes of Bill Laswell and Fred Frith. I always preferred them to the Lounge Lizards, who were more funk inflected than these noise-partial skronkniks. Alongside Mercury this is one of their best. Friday, 25 November 2016.
