Laquo; Deep Beauty. Projects on the horizon. On conquering depression, or any other flaw which troubles the soul. My sister at Mishtown. Has been expanding into my philosophical turf for some time now, and with this quote by Andrew Solomon (whoever that is) has truly upstaged me:. As one who has trodden through the bleak, black wasteland of depression, so much of this quote rings true for me! Mercifully, there is never a point at which it is too late to choose this path! Thoughts on Prometheus and, surprisingly, faith. 8221; which I and my friend experienced as we left the theater and began reflecting on the movie’s numerous apparent plot holes/calculated, sequel-friendly mysteries (such as, what exactly was that smoke monster? Laquo; On conquering depression, or any other flaw which troubles the soul. Science readings on same-sex attraction lately. Projects on the horizon. I’ve thought about spinning off from this blog to start a new, more focused, and, I hope, more respectable-looking website. Perhaps I will do this at some point. In the mean time, below are some things I have thought a lot about discussing, and which I might actually discuss here or at another place. Timing is, of course, TBD. Posted 4 years, 6 months ago.

Nurturing and Encouraging our Angels with Love. Our family scene with a few thoughts and ideas to think about. Monday, January 04, 2010. If I don't update this blog, no one will, so I better get to it. I was thinking about broadening my theme for this family blog. Instead of just repeatedly showing off my kids and activities, I thought I could start sharing some of my thoughts on life and issues and some of my many opinions to go with. Sunday, June 15, 2014. I'm not a minimalist. "Less is more" never applied to me when it came to verbal expression, color-coordinated accessories, lively acquaintances, wall collages, etc. It's just not my nature. Why, then, have I felt so compelled lately to simplify, to streamline, reduce, and minimize? I don't know because it is DEFINITELY not worth taking all the kids to the grocery store. I actually fantasize about our house burning down and of course our family is safe, but all our stuff is gone!

Monday, September 15, 2008. This is the newest from home (Becca emailed me this story):. OK, So last night the power went out and Dad was coloring with Abby. She stopped for a second and Dad had the guts to ask her what she was doing and guess what she said with enthusiasm. I'M POOPING! It was the funniest thing. She just said it like it was normal conversation and went back to coloring while Dad and I were dying laughing :). Sometimes (now more than ever) I really wish I was home watching Babs grow up.

Needless to say, I would be 100% on board with a move to Italy. I hope you...
