Lekvár, zöldségkrém, savanyúság. Amikor - mint épp most - beindul a zöldborsószezon, borsó van borsóval. A zöldborsóleves nálunk úgy készül, hogy húsos csontból vagy húsból, tengernyi petrezselyemzölddel, sóval és alaposan megmosott zöldborsóhüvellyel "alaplevet" főzök. Megtisztítok egy csokor sárgarépát és néhány fehérrépát, felkarikázom. Zsírt olvasztok, melyen gyengéden megpirítom a gyökérzöldségeket, hogy az ízüket jobban kinyerjem. Ezután rádobom a megtisztított zöldborsót és felöntöm az "alaplével".
