A girl with perspectives. May 10, 2014. I was in the kitchen making myself a snack, when I heard her calling my name. I went to see if she wanted something. When I went to her, she stood still waiting for me, with a stern face. Why were those two boys with you? Do you have no concern for my reputation among people? What will they say now? You should be ashamed. This is not America! With this she meant that this wasn’t a western culture so we can’t have boys as friends. I was frustrated, confused, and sad.
