September 08, 2013. Teachers Day provided me an opportunity to visit the school in Egmore where I studied. Though we have not had a strong and active alumni community, a informal group has created linkages with St. Anthony's and has been involved in a few campus activities. Asha Marina who studied here in the 80s leads this group. I had time on Thursday morning, so I joined her and a few others to take part in the Teachers Day celebrations. Monday, March 23, 2009. And sunshine. Man how much have I missed that this past week. Amazing how people live without sun for days on end. Weird. I remember my german teacher telling us how people would flock to the North Sea beachfronts in Germany during summer. Imagine! Like I've said earlier, waiting at the airport with kinds is so much better than giving company to grouchy grandmas giving you stares :) Watching them jumping around telling mommy mommy theres a place there. one here is so much fun!

After a particularly disastrous year for the country, though a pretty good year on the personal front, its been a good new beginning for 2009.
