Competitive obedience is exactly as you would imagine, obedient and well trained dogs having their abilities tested. Once you have started your training with your dog you may decide to do the Good Citizen Test. You then may also decide to try your hand at Competitive Obedience training and, in due course, test your progress by entering one of the many shows held in Dublin and throughout Ireland. Agility is a fast-paced, exciting dog sport with great spectator appeal. It is an excellent test of the partnership between the handler and the dog. The design of the course changes with every round. Jumping courses are similar to agility but do not contain the contact obstacles / ramps i.e. the A-frame, dog walk or see-saw.
