THIS IS NOT TRIBAL PRINT!! | My African Closet
https://myafricancloset.wordpress.com/2013/04/09/this-is-not-tribal-print
THIS IS NOT TRIBAL PRINT! April 9, 2013. OK, I have a question? WHAT IS TRIBAL PRINT? Who came up with that phrase and why? Because, it just confuses me. It seems like the phrase tribal print is just a lazy term for a whole bunch of prints that people can’t be bothered to find the name for. Its not tribal print. It never is. And which tribe exactly did this print originate from? And just because we all now still don’t know what tribal print really means……… lets jump! Jumper- Primark, Boots- Ebay. April 1...
Gridlocked and mysterious | My African Closet

August 29, 2011. I immediately decided I wanted to wear this hat on Sunday and it just made so much sense with this dress that I was like forget about color, Today I dine in black heaven. I love how the hat drapes over my face. Makes me look all grown, glamorous and mysterious. Of course, I could only look out of one eye for the whole day but that all added to the appeal. The hat did not come with the black and white striped fabric, I added that to match my shoes. Dress is from CJAJ09,. I love this girl!

April 9, 2012. Hope everyone had a great Easter weekend. With my girl Nancy, rocking the long version of my skirt, in a different print. Both mine and Nancy’s skirts- CJAJ09. Top by me, Bag- W, Booties- Ebay, Jacket- Wallis. The top was actually a dress that I shortened and added the shoulder pads at the last minute. Well have a great week guys and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do, so essentially do everything, LOL. Thanks for dropping by. Clown Shoes →. April 9, 2012 at 5:51 pm. April 11, 2012 at 3:15 pm.

Just another WordPress.com site. Elgie on the bus goes round and round. Yesterday, I expressed my desire to go back to Wilmington for a weekend to my Mom. She did not like this idea. Partially because I was just home the last weekend and partially because my new driving self should apparently not be driving around the highway like I own them. I do not own the highways. Allergies and the head cold are winning. But that was then. That’s fair. That’s valid. You just need the beach. Like buying in bulk. ...
Elgie+ Gandolph | elgie on the bus goes round and round
https://guidryintransit.wordpress.com/2013/06/19/elgie-gandolph
Just another WordPress.com site. Elgie on the bus goes round and round. I haven’t blogged lately. Mostly because life changes at a pace that has been giving me whiplash so the idea of documenting it seems to be completely overwhelming. Also, my parents would probably become wildly concerned about my safety and well-being if they read daily accounts of how I have been tripping on everything in sight. My shins have resembled a toddler’s learning to walk. My parents have forgiven me. The man Gandolph peed o...

Just another WordPress.com site. Elgie on the bus goes round and round. When you’ve got water in your shoes. One of my very dearest friends and I have a saying for the kind of days when everything seems to go wrong. These are the glorious days that leave us worse for wear, gulping down calming chamomile tea and laughing about how when it rains, it typically pours. My ninja abilities failed me yesterday. As I lunged for falling milk glass like a ninja, I managed to slice my finger open. So I write to you,...

Sharing my sewing journey with you…. First of all, I’d like to thank you for taking the time to visit my blog! I am a 30 something recently married woman who is embarking on a new personal hobbie – SEWING! My initial inspiration comes from my mother, who always sewed clothing for my brother and I when we were young. And no, I was never one of those kids who didn’t appreciate the things she made. In fact, I still rock some of the shorts she made for me to sleep. #gottaloveyamama. Why I Created This Blog.

An ageing lady with a secret mission. There is always room for a little more…. Yes that is what I thought this morning when stuffing my home-made taylor s ham with wood scraps for hamsters bedding.
